Hello Don,

No, I did not read it until you posted it. Thanks.

I am in agreement with Albom at the present time. I also think there is value in forcing good management into the Detroit Three and demanding that something like a viable business model be developed.

I have many thoughts on this topic, and one of the reasons I don't post my opinions is that I am very conflicted with my own views. I am a free-market guy, and I think the dying should be picked apart by the vultures until death results. At the same time I recognize the hypocrisy of the Treasury and the Clowngress and I know with certainty the complete devastation that will result if any of the Detroit Three should fail. And this would impact every single American, irrespective if they agree or acknowledge this. We need that manufacturing base now more than ever, and the key is to find a way to refocus or replace the inept management like Ricky and get them to a path that is sustainable and innovating for a greener future.
