Re: i agree with your idea of taxing fuel. however, it has the drawback of being too rational. in America, you never want to do something rationally if there is a stupider way to sort of accomplish the same thing.

other day i was at an Office Depot and the whole front row of parking spots (aside from those devoted to the handicapped) was reserved for parking by "Fuel Efficient Vehicles Only". LOL, what a bunch of retards

it is just a new form of conspicuous consumption, this time egged on by politically correct mgmt retards throughout the kleptocorporate bureaucracy.


This kind of thing goes over very well in CA. We like it. All you have to do is petition your state to remove it, no big deal. Its not like fuel efficient perks are federally mandated, unlike the 100K FEDERAL gas guzzler tax break which was.

We only want electric cars here in CA, this market is bigger than the red states and can sustain higher price points. We don't care about the red states, drive as many Yukons as you want.
