Good point gary. I was also thinking about this but I don't know how S&P adds and deletes these companies. But when IOM is added to S&P in the future, not only that there is heavy index fund money coming in but also it will gain more respect. More respect will turn out to be more stability in stock price and not just with panicky hands like we have seen many times in the past. (Only in market downturn, being in S&P will become a drawback.)
