Ok Q8 - CBOT has an index of credit default swaps - 50 components equal weighted (2%) each CDR Liquid 50TM: cbot.com CDS Chart looks like an inverse Dow or SP500 index stock chart. Markit is the provider i hear most of the time for quotes on CDS but it looks like you need to pay to play.

Lot of good links posted here that I've not seen anywhere else. Some of the articles are pretty lengthy or difficult for me to wade through -- and take more time than I have to read. -g- -------------------- I maintain more than a full position in oil/oil service stocks. Very late in the game now, I will nevertheless try to cut back on some with a view to reenter at lower prices. I cut back my COP position by about 1/3 today, and I'll try to add back if the stock will drop again.
