yes, but he did not short the financials and commercial real estate, and he hardly shorted commodities, and his result shows it he is a data point, nothing more, and if anything more, then entertainment i on this thread sharply reduced commodities all through last year and stayed true to gold while shorting the financials and commercial real estate, simply another way to play the same sorry scene, and i do not advise shorting gold and there is the battle line between wastrel inflationist nickle-and-diming gartman otoh, and diligence, astuteness, agility, and true conviction otoh :0)
