RW, seems like the problems with American car manufacturers have more to do with themselves and less to do with the lack of universal health care.

Not really, they sell a hell of a lot of cars. It's their cost basis.

Of course, I'm sure everyone at Ford, GM, and Chrysler wouldn't mind having someone else pick up the tab for health care.

Not just autos... a lot of companies are lobbying for universal health care. They would love to get the monkey off their back... that their international competitors don't have.

Why should Intel be a buyer of health care? They don't buy your car or home owners insurance.
