Ted, > There is hypocrisy.....esp. among some of the Hollywood liberals. So what. It doesn't make the problem less urgent.

It's not just hypocrisy. It's also the rules they want to impose on everyone else.

Like a hypocritical pastor who keeps to his own church, I wouldn't mind if they kept their global warming crusade to their own.

What rules, ten? Whose making you give up driving to work and taking the bus? No one is making you do squat.

What slays me is that you are unwilling to see the correlation between the current credit crisis and global warming. We consume 25% of the oil in the world in order to fuel our consumption habits, most of which are financed through credit. Bad habits usually impact more than one area.

Traditionally, liberals are not very religious......you have said that over and over again. Its not in our nature. Hence, global warming is not a religion......instead its a huge concern.

Everyone places their faith in something. Even so-called atheists and agnostics place their faith in science and pseudo-science.

Its not faith......its conclusions made based on logic and fact.

It's the pseudo-science that becomes a religion in itself.

What a cheap shot.....there are renowned scientists who believe in global warming. That's what galls you.
