This Thanksgiving we are staying local instead of going up to the mountains. Monster-in-law is coming over our house with her arms filled with resemblances of deserts made without sugar or fat (because she thinks it tastes the same and wants to share her "wonderous" discoveries). At least I can look forward to wifie's stuffing. She uses my mom's recipe. Oh it is soooo good. I'll enjoy watching some football and plan to share a bottle of Courvoisier XO with my brother Eddie on the back deck. Since he's passed on, I'll drink his half while smoking a Montecristo (blowing the cigar smoke towards heaven). Man, I miss him. Was 7 months yesterday. Not getting any easier. ...but not getting any harder either I suppose. Enjoy your families, everyone. Have a safe one.
