Bush's war choices were all bad during the campaign. Now according to Barack, Bush' Def Sec is the best choice in the world. Phony Barack. ___________________ Obama never criticized Gates. In fact, he praised him on numerous occasions during the campaign for correcting the errors of the Rumsfeld era at the Pentagon and offering a more capable management style at Defense. Gates signaled appreciation back....which is where we find outselves now. Gates was the guy Bush turned to after he got into the mess in Iraq. Gates was skeptical about it all. Another of Bush the First's more pragmatic advisors...helping out Junior.
