just using your post as a jumping off point....

Speaking as a Californian, it really is disgusting what is happening in our socialistic state. We expect the state to provide everything to us and the only way to do this is to raise taxes. And we choose to raise taxes on businesses, thus driving them out of state and reducing the number of jobs here.

this shows the futility of taxing businesses. Their only choice is to either move or sell product at higher prices. Neither option is good for us.

I see people blaming U.S. capitalism for the economic crisis in the world, but again, this has nothing to do with capitalism and hasn't for many years. Further, it wasn't just the U.S. companies and government that made this happen....it was an effort that had worldwide participation.
