Actually that Boeing story should not have been that suprising. A lot of people in the industry felt Boeing was pretty extended. You can't always improve schedule by just throwing people at it.

These results are specific to Boeing and not a very good indication of the state of the aerospace industry (with is booming I might add).

This is a way of saying "managemnt does not know to plan".

Actualy I think they (BA) know to plan very well but MAY BE orders from SE Asia is the problem and BA does not want to disclose it, and put pressure on airplane prices or make SE Asia debt holders panic.

As it seems now I am suspicious that sales to certain SE Asia countries can not be financed.
