It looks to me like some nervous investors are selling some SSPIF shares before earnings are announced this Monday. I can understand this but think it is a mistake as all signs point towards a strong quarter. I have also heard that earnings will now be announced after the close Monday as opposed to before the open, and that this will be followed by Spectrum's first conference call.

Recent SSPIF accomplishments with c6x DSP

1) Spectrum was the first company to demonstrate hardware/software running V.34 modem code on c6x.
2) Spectrum is developing code to implement 8 and maybe 10 V.34 modems per c6x, ie 40 modems per board.
3) Spectrum developed the hurricane ASIC to maximize data I/O to/from c6x hardware.
4) Spectrum has caught attention of a semi company who may license its Hurricane technology.
5) Spectrum subsidiary 3L is developing real time operating system code for c6x.
6) Spectrum is the first company to receive advance orders for c6x products.
7) Spectrum marketing acumen has advanced exponentially the past year, highlighted by Ron Wages' hiring.
8) Spectrum has the expertise to develop rapidly c6x DSP software for any customers custom application.
9) Spectrum order rate is already at record levels, and will accelerate further with c6x starting in q1 1998.
10) Spectrum c6x products are catching the eye of DSP leader TI in Texas.
11)Spectrum is perfectly suited technology/marketing wise to team/partner with the myriad of companies who will be looking to develop c6x product in 1998.
12) Spectrum has several other product lines besides c6x, more c4x and Sharc products are in the pipeline.
13) Spectrum stock price does not even begin to reflect its future growth prospects.
14) Spectrum stock price has not performed as I or I presume anyone had hoped for this year, this will change.
15) Spectrum does not yet have analyst coverage, this will also change.
