Back story claims aside, my impression of Bush, after watching him for 8 years, is that he is mean spirited, insensitive, lacks circumspection, tends toward self-righteous indignation, while being dull-witted and incurious. He also seems to be kind of a whack-job as evidenced by the "Amigo! Amigo!" greeting of the Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi and giving unsolicited and vigorous back-rubs to the female German Chancellor Angela Merkel. I guess I just don't like him...
