There is nothing "existentialist" about it. It's all about what the mother feels like she can handle. If she feels she's ready, then it's a "life." If not, it's a "tumor." If you want to cheapen the miracle of life with your intellectualism, go right ahead, but don't expect me to be impressed by your arguments.
