I listened to the full conference call and was blown away by how well RMDY has done. One of the Goldman Sachs analysts said that the cost of revenue was much lower than expected and wondered what they were going to do with $100 million in cash. I don't know if it was "analyst speak", but everyone said "great quarter" for what is a traditionally weak quarter for technology in general.

IBM will be contributing greatly to revenue in 1998, and Remedy's products have become the de facto standard for government help desks.
New products are in the pipeline, also.

I think RMDY may well hit 50 before the end of the week and may actually hit 60 before the end of the year. One of the interesting comments was an analyst who wanted to cover the "low points" but said it "half facetiously". I got the sense that Remedy won over any remaining skeptics.

I expect that there may be some reiterations or strong buys in the next few days. If not, and even if there is a downgrade, then they're playing with you (read: great buying opportunity). I think the analysts will have to dig deep to find the one excuse to drive this one down.
