the keys are bigger than the Iphone touch keys, so hte person seems biased. I have both the ipod touch and have tried the storm and the storm is easier to use that the Ipod.

I Would be interested to see if that same person ever reviewed the Iphone.

There are now people jumping off Sprint to get teh Storm.

If only it had Wifi, then parents could give it to kids to use freely. This is hte one major screwup by VZ. their obsession with user control by policy.

The kids are all asking for Storms for Chirstmas. they know it is close to the Iphone but would have a better coverage network.

May have more to do with "fat" vs "thin" fingers than age....

In my limited experience, women have no trouble typing text accurately on the iPhone, and you couldn't pry the things from their hands no matter what you offered in exchange. But on average they have much slimmer finger tips than men.

In my own playing with the iPhone, I make tons of typing errors hitting the key adjacent to the one I want, and frequently have to back track to get it right. Maybe I'll just have to buy one and keep it for few weeks to see if I improve. I find my 4 year old Treo keyboard hard to go wrong with - but again that may just be that I'm really used to it...

J Goren believe me I tried my best to use that touch screen keyboard. The NY Times was NOT exagerrating! After I returned my Storm, I went to AT%T and tried the iphone and the touch screen keyboard on the Iphone was very doable. The storm is impossible. And I am an old fogey but very computer literate. I waited for the Storm because I only would buy a phone with a Q chipset. So now I am back to my Treo 700 which always crashes.
