MI, I agree the two statements do seem to conflict a bit, but not really in light of the thrust of my real meaning. Firstly, the threads I started at Suite101 were NOT moderated by me. Although, when Kirk was there, he allowed me to pretty much "do it my way," but he was still the moderator and always had the final say-so. Long ago, I put Suite101, and the ugly way it all ended with the brown-shirts taking over, out of my mind -- so I didn't think it was pertinent to anything. But I knew on second thought that some nitpicking looong-term stalker would make an issue of the fact that I did start threads there. I probably should have said I have never started a thread at this site and let it go at that. You see MI, there are some people who will never give the meaning of my words the benefit of a doubt. Every word I say is dissected and cataloged for future use in case I ever make any infinitesimal slip up that can be made into a major mountain. And finally, if I did start a "moderated board" here, believe me, it would be MODERATED!! .

MI, The Suite 101 Discussions Group that I was part of was NOT founded by me. It was founded by Kirk L., and he did a find job of running a very popular site for many years. And one more thing, MI, The Google Discussion Group was not started by me. It was founded by Sir Pig, and he did a very fine job of it. It is informative and entertaining. So to wrap up this discussion, even though I agree that it seems that what I said was contradictory, it really was not -- on second thought. .
