So what???? Safe disposal is the issue numnutz. It's possible to safely dispose of CFL's if they're segregated from the main garbage stream.

Another thing, low Mercury CFL's are available (1 mg mercury/bulb) and I'm sure they're working on eliminating mercury.

Hey everyone! Now longnshort is wanting us to move to nuclear, wind, and solar from coal fired power plants. He's really turned the corner.

What an amazing turnabout, longshort. Why the sudden change of mind? Have you now seen the light and decided that being selfish isn't the best way forward?
