He has the worst ratings in cable news. Clearly, he is not well liked. How this translates into running for office is beyond me.

i doubt spector gets nomination by gop if he tries to run again. Last time he won because of chairmanship to help in getting through supreme court nominations..

Matthews has had his eye on a senate seat for some time. I think anyone running on democrat ticket will win in pa. Matthews has to fight off those who will also want the seat in the dem party.

If Rendell wants the seat , it's his!
