Z, > And it's not about saving unions for the sake of saving unions. It's about saving the American middle class worker ...

Since you think unions created the middle class, it is fair to say that this is indeed about saving unions.

> Why would I be afraid to admit that I'm worried about millions of families?

It's only human to worry about millions of families. But because of that, I think you will never admit that the unions are part of the problem.

And without admitting it, the problem will never be solved.

> Does "Drill, Baby, Drill" ring a bell at all?

Sure. Another lie put forth by Democrats who wanted to ridicule the Republican energy plan.

That "neophyte" Sarah Palin put it best. "Our opponents say again and again that drilling will not solve all of America's energy problems, as if we didn't know that already. But the fact -- the fact that drilling, though, won't solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all."

Z,

And it's not about saving unions for the sake of saving unions. It's about saving the American middle class worker and the American middle class way of life that's been the main building block of this country's success over the last six or seven decades.

No, the building blocks of economic success were market based economy, increasing productivity and improving education.

Education is not improving (or may in fact be in a reversal), and if there is one thing unions achieve, it is reduction of productivity.

Unlike decades ago, most of the important economies in the world are market based (nullifying a competitive advantage the US once had).
