<<Fri Oct 24, 2008 BEIJING, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The United States has plundered global wealth by exploiting the dollar's dominance, and the world urgently needs other currencies to take its place, a leading Chinese state newspaper said on Friday.>>

All China has to do is stop buying US treasuries if they really believe that the US has plundered global wealth. They don't seem willing to do that (actions speak louder than words). Their complaint looks more like an attempt to deflect criticism of their own failed economic policies IMO.

Who is this guy Bahgdad Bobs brother? "Shi, who has before been strident in his criticism of the U.S., said other countries had lost vast amounts of wealth because of the financial crisis, while Washington's sole concern had been protecting its own interests.

"The U.S. dollar is losing people's confidence. The world, acting democratically and lawfully through a global financial organisation, urgently needs to change the international monetary system based on U.S. global economic leadership and U.S. dollar dominance," he wrote."

This person, has no sense of history does he? While China is becoming such a huge factor in global economy, there is an interconnectedness with foreign demand that enabled the China transition......too much national pride and discounting historical facts.

Wonder if he or any of these other critics would subject themselves to the opportunity of global transition toward nano particalization of currency based on the value of outputs under a codified regime of Time Shapes of Capital?

Bet brazil, certainly russia, would not want to be held to such standards. All control centric / oligarchic economies would be exposed for the wasteful nature of control economics.

China people might better adjust under this regime, like the US, where productivity is high and competitive natures would facilitate the same outcomes, the winners would still be a select group of countries and peoples with high productivity and adaptable quotient for innovation.

Propagandists are skilled in the arts of casting dispersion while being completely reliant on the tools of innovation created somewhere else.

Expediency.....towards nationalism is a tell......learn how to read it.

A mouthpiece is just a mouthpiece, no matter where the chair he occupies is located.
