From WSJ:

<Singapore soundcard maker Creative Technology Ltd. (CREAF) said it expects revenues to rise between 10% and 15% for the full year ending June 30, 1998, with sales of non-audio products such as DVD-ROM drives and graphics cards increasing ...

Sim said the company is looking at boosting revenues by packaging its DVD-ROM kit together with its graphics card and speakers at an affordable price.>

Work out for yourselves the impact of this revenue growth (and if margins are maintained or weakened slightly)! :)

Also form WSJ:

<3Dlabs Inc. (TDDDF) said International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) selected the Permedia 2-based Symmetric GLyder MAX-2 graphics accelerator for its new Windows NT Workstation.

In a press release Wednesday, 3Dlabs said Symmetric Inc's GLyder MAX-2 is based on 3Dlabs' Permedia 2, a highly-integrated graphics processor that accelerates 2D and 3D graphics, 3D geometry setup processing and MPEG-2 video.>

This should give CREAF's 'Extreme Blaster' a boost since it also uses the Permedia-2 chip, let alone CREAF's share holdings in 3DLabs.
