Benefits for retired workers have to be completely off the table; people who gave their entire lives to the company with the promise that they'd be kept secure in their old age should not have to suddenly find themselves losing their homes and having to go out and get a job at 75. No way. No one over 55 should lose a thing. But that's what conservatives want to put on the table. I'd rather have my taxes go towards their pensions than see them go up in smoke. I agree. Our word is our bond. It's about integrity. And about the promises going forward.
