"to limit those covered by your statement might make one think you do fear strong non traditional females." You are mistaken if you are the 'one' mentioned above. The topic is strong women and what might be a cause for fear in some. There is no reason for men to fear strong women who are traditional as I have positioned the term. Strong traditional women complement strong traditional men, strengthen family, and contribute to communtity and visa versa. The alternative Non-traditional women are those seeking 'independence'. Independence in this context vaguely means separation from the traditional heterosexual roles where in heterosexual spouses complement and support each other. "come to dominate the culture in ways harmfull to mens interests." That may be your perception but it is a contradiction to say that traditional women dominate in ways harmful to the interests of men. Even in matriarcial traditional families, strong women push the men to be the best they can be. It is only the 'independent' types who don't mind climbing over the demolished bodies of men to get what they want. We had a good ole' boy system in the fifties where the most corrupt men could climb to the top of the corporate ladder, now we have the good mean girl system where we've paved a convenient path to that end for the equivalent corrupt females. Strong traditional men are not corrupt they are care taking and protective and they support their families while contributing to community. This is where the term machismo originated before it got a bad rap. Strong traditional females are nurturing and supportive while their form of protectiveness may across slightly different. I don't fear the corruptness of the good ole boy system or the new mean girl system ... except maybe the fear of getting sucked into being a part of one or the other. My point was that some people do fear strong traditional males and females because they feel excluded due to their choice to live alternative lifestyles of carnal materialism. Weaklings might support the good ole boy system maybe due to demographics, which they believe will result in being taken care of by the good ole boy system. This is a source of bigotry IMO. Likewise, weaklings may support the new mean girl system because they think it will take care of them. So they become tools of corruption no different than the weaklings supporting the good ole boy system.
