I don't normally respond, but for $9.99 you want research? Get real. What's the matter with all the free research sites on the web? Do you know about dailystocks.com ?

Come on, all you people asking for research and mutual funds, and...and and..and...Datek is not the place for you.

Eric:

Per the customer guide on their website.. datek has no plans on trading BB stocks online. I have heard however, that if you hold a BB stock, it can be sold by calling a live Datek broker.

As far as I know, there is no minimum after the initial $2000 minimum deposit. (Again, check the FAQ on their website)

Regards,
Mike

Etrade is just plain awful. Datek is great.

The only thing etrade has over Datek is research and you can get that free all over the web.

Try this:
wsrn.com

I hope datek doesn't add any research. They are best at executing trades and they should stay focused without wasting their resources on other things.
