That's a singularly unproductive post. What we need to be doing now is figuring out what we did wrong here in the US, so we can get back on our feet. Saying that we're strong and that we did nothing wrong is like an alcoholic not admitting he has a problem. I no more want to live in China than I'd want a hole in my head. What I do want is a return to fiscal conservatism and sound management of our economy. We've lived beyond our means and now it's time to pay the piper. When the piper is paid, we can lick our wounds and get back to living within our means and competing like hell with the rest of the world by renewing our investments in education, science, infrastructure, and renewable energy. We need to get smart. Burying our heads in the sand or blaming others won't solve these problems. We've been stupid. Now we need to get smart.
