Friedman was on Fareed Zkaria's show last week with two economists from Harvard and Princton and they were all very scared about the present economic debacle. Friedman said our real worry now is the danger of failing nations like Russia and Pakistan. They all thought Pakistan is our biggest worry. The Harvard dude said England could go bankrupt as well as Germany and the EC was in trouble?? That was a big surpise to me. I know Merkle is really pissed at bush for letting American sell them all that CCC paper which Moody's had certified as AAA paper-lol.
