You partisan hack. The extreme leveraging of ALL debt by the GREEDY broker/bankers is THE root cause of the meltdown. Your incompetent Bush administration could've head it off but continued it's pattern of mismanagement.

No link? Quoting yourself again? It's poor form to post quotes without links. You know that right? Clinton signed the partial repeal of the Glass Stegall Act which, i think, history will show to have been a mistake and a major contributing factor to the mess we're in now. If this truly is the worst banking crisis since the Great Depression, i don't think it will turn out to be a coincidence that one happened before Glass Seagall and the other didn't happen until its repeal. A lot of liberals we're against the repeal and said so at the time. SD
