Whether F or GM stock goes worthless or not, I do not know. I suspect worthless. I'm hoping and betting some suppliers will pull through and the publicly-traded auto retailers too.

In any case, given the current stock market and my situation in it, no '09 Corvette purchase for me this year.

Just got mail confirm that a GTC order to add to a few LLY was filled yesterday.

P/e estimate for '09 is below 10x, dividend yield is over 5%. Stock recently at 28-31 hasn't been so low in ten years.

Supposedly it's all about drug pipelines and patent expirations.
I don't know much about that regarding Lilly. I assume with their large research staff and recent acquisition (ImClone), they are trying very hard to keep their drugs and sales&profits flowing. Meanwhile, I'll limit my risk by limiting my LLY position size to a few shares.
