Just like the surge in that "quagmire" called Iraq wasn't going to work. Until it did. You probably assume that Obama will follow through on his pledge to combat Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan. I certainly hope he will, but I wouldn't bet on it, especially if the budget forces Obama into a "push comes to shove" situation. Tenchusatsu
