LOL..your MBA ideo-pal thinks one ought to run a global corporation on gut and instinct rather than sound analysis and business planning. I say he flunked business school. What do you think?

Yes, I have an MBA and I'm a CPA and have various other "university accomplishments" in basically unrelated fields.

But none of that prepared me for running a business as much as growing up as the son of a businessman. It is interesting that of my 3 (now only 2 living) siblings, ALL of ended up self employed.

It really is kind of in your blood or it isn't. If you don't know it when you're 23 you probably aren't going to learn it. The MBA was akin to working a crossword puzzle; I didn't pick up a lot of new material there but it took me some time to do it. I can't say it made me a better business person. But that's 'cause you don't become a good business person in school.

Some people are born to be on someone else's payroll. Others could never do it.

I never said I agreed with him or considered him a marketing expert.

What I am saying, however, is that you have presented nothing but your usual bile.
