My family is evenly divided between far right Republicans and center-right Republicans. All the far rights voted for McCain and think Palin is the cat's meow. None of the center-right in my family think Palin is any good in comparison to all the other qualified GOP candidates. Half of the center right in my family voted for McCain, despite disliking Palin. The other half voted for Obama. Again, all of this is in my family, which has always been Republican. If we are a microcosm, and I believe we are, then the GOP is in trouble and Palin isn't the cure.
