Awhile back, I started a project to transfer my 8-tracks, went to the cupboard where I kept them, pulled them out and they had all disintegrated into an oily goo. Not one of them was any good. I thought I'd stored them properly, but I guess not.

I'd like to do that too. Most of my 8 tracks are home made and not very high quality, but some great music. I no longer own a turn table so I don't know how I'd transfer my records. It would cost a fortune to replace all my stuff with good quality CD's, so I guess what I have is nothing more than boxes of trash.
