i checked on asian share prices just now, and had to giggle, and then laugh out loud, and then my wife asked me "what is so funny?" i answered, "it is just funny watching the market. the selling momentum is sooooo strong. a friend of mine quoted the movie butch cassidy and sundance kid, when paul newman asked robert redford, "where are they all coming from" as the mexican soldiers surrounded and lay siege to their hideout and so ... where are all the selling coming from? :0)

hello pezz, today's report: (i) left hk ataround noon by train, to a wierd hotel in the middle of nowhere at golf club. the hotel seems like a computer game set, with brand new old style euro buildings, great food, but as of now, a place meant for perhaps several hundred, but all by my very lonesome self. i am a creature who appreciate solitude; but this is absurd. (ii) before leaving hkg, i got wind that three lonesome krugerrands that got turned in by weak and trembling hands, and so made side journey to the hang seng bank hq and picked off the straggling krugerrands. gold hunting had never been this trying before, and heretofore i had never had settle for krugerrands, the lesser gold. (iii) had discovered gold leaf, half a stamp small, at the citysuper supermarket, costing about usd 30/piece, for garnishing pizza, decorating sushi, and highlighting champagne, so light that they float, catching the light filtered through the golden bubbly liquid in tall stem glasses i suppose should i sink to japanese depth, i can then tell zim the dim that i sh*t gold, and that my waste is worth more than his meal ;0) gad i miss them all, cb ilaine, zim the dim, maurice mq ... where have they all gone to? well, there is always zeus the goose, will do for now :0) cheers, tj

hello pezz, tonight's report: (i) bought srs @ 117.87 (ii) sold srs december put strike 120 @ 20.6 (iii) sold srs december call strike 120 @ 15.7 (iv) sold srs december call strike 125 @ 14.5 simultaneously wagering on volatility as well as for collapse of empire real estate to unimaginable depth; a win win bet, i figure adore computer gaming :0) cheers, tj

Best regards (ii) so, now the full expeditionary legion's order of battle is just weirdly so: long srs @ 111.08 and 117.87 short srs december put strike 120 @ 20.60 short srs december put strike 125 @ 22.00 (i know, there was an execution / order taking / order giving mistake, but i can live with it) short srs december call strike 120 @ 13.00 and 15.7 short srs december call strike 125 @ 14.5 i am not sure what i did. i figure when the strategy is correct, maybe perhaps possibly the tactics would be not so important. basic direction, srs will easily go to 200+ and it is now full of value, to be played every which way, all different styles, as many positions as possible, all along the time axis, because no one will be shopping much, working plenty, or refinancing anything. the above positions will either be all in the money, or a double up will happen, after which i will be bailed out by all the people not shopping, working and refinancing. cheers, tj
