That is true.....McCain was a lousy candidate and he would have been defeated even more handily without Palin. I for one had on interest in his campaign prior to her selection. I would not have even bothered to vote.

Agree with you there. I honestly believe that had the GOP selected Romney and Huckabee, they may have won. Both of them would have been sharp candidates with excellent credentials. A heck of a lot harder to attack.
