Do you notice how inode steps into sh*t all time? He has a knack for it.

I have a feeling that this guy thinks that a small corner store has a lot in common with a large firm serving the consumer space. In what I did, we made decisions for which the effect was not visible for years after...we were influenced by what we knew the competition was doing, and what we could envision if could do, plus what the market would demand five to ten years down the road. The investments in question were very large, so a mistake could turn into a financial disaster. It's similar to what a car manufacturer has to do...in a sense partially countering competitive trends, and also setting new trends to stimulate demand generation. The big 3 do both of these things poorly. I know this crap inside out...lived and died by it.

He's an ignorant dumbass that projects his non-skills onto those he's arguing with.
