Uh......assuming this is true.......given that this is a professor from Pepperdine of all schools....I have to wonder about its validity since I thought car companies were fairly secretive about their profit potentials.

This is typical of you guys. The guy has done his homework. I don't care what school he teaches.

One also has to wonder why mgmt approved union contracts that guaranteed they would lose money with each car they produce.

It is abundantly clear - just as I said last week, they have caved to the repeated, decades-long extortion carried out by the UAW.

Something doesn't make jive with the good professor emeritus's thesis but then I don't have an MBA. ;-)

Exactly. Not only do you not have an MBA you don't know crap about business or everything in the article would have been obvious to you from glancing at the companies financial statements.
