What people miss about Clinton is what he did for the people. Not one of the Republicans since Nixon did nearly as much. Just look at some of the basic indicators: First, just caring about the common man. None of the Republcian's showed any concern. Empathy and compassion is the big difference. 1) Universal health care. Which of the Republican's worked as hard as Clinton to get it. Or worked at all really. 2) Budget surplus 3) raising the minimum wage 4) protecting the unions 5) protecting blacks 6) Learning government policy 7) Say what you want about Clinton, he had more compassion for the peopel of the world than all the past 30 years of Republican's combined.

Mindmeld look at what the Republcians have brought us over the last 60 years. Joe MCArthy and the House of Unamerican activities. Richard Nixon, fought the 1964 civil right act for god's sake. Really fought it. Fought environemntal concerns since Rachel CArson. Ironically, supported the Viet Nam war. It was the liberal democrats who took on thier own president LBJ, and floated gene MCarthy and bobby Kennedy against the war and LBJ. Reagan tore down the unions, exploded the debt 500% and cut social programs so much in california mentally ill people were poured out on the streets. Unemployment, food stamps and the minimum wage are all championed by the dems. What do you think the Republicans have done in the past 40 years that is postiive. I cannot think of anything. They have represented the worst in we hmans not the best. I think once the majority get a full image of the republcian's they will be horrrified. The Republican party since IKE has acted like a bunch of sociopaths. Republicans have exhibited little compassion, empathy, honesty or intellect since the 1950's.
