I've had a lot of big dogs, but for an inside dog, my Bichon couldn't be better.

Poodles are a great dog to have if you dislike your neighbors. We had them when I was growing up. They constantly yipped and barked.

I assume you're talking about toys or miniatures. I have a standard and she's not a yipper. When she barks, it's usually a territorial thing because someone is walking by with another dog or one of the neighborhood cats has trespassed in the yard.
