Its ridiculous to argue otherwise, those that do are talking their pocketbook and that is all. i bought a home in 1998 - fully 20 years AFTER it was passed - AND PROP 13 HAS PROTECTED ME FROM MORONS WHO WAY OVERPAID FOR THEIR HOMES. thank goodness i don't have to pay for the recklessness and idiocy of others. your argument that it hurt everyone after 1978 is DOA. it only hurt people who over paid for their homes. i can afford my property taxes and i don't mind paying them. why? i bought at a fair price.
