I am leaning to giving up wheat products and stick with oats and other substitutes to see how I fare.

Easiest way I know to reduce weight, blood sugar and keep from getting Type II diabetes. I don't recall if you have CAD. But if you do, it's must. Especially if your have Lp(a) and/or small LDL.

It was my biggest objection to the change in my diet. But once I did it, no problem from it.

Cut out all corn and corn starch products, plus refined sugar, at the same time, and never worry about gaining weight again.
