If the anti-Palin folks had limited their objection to "light weight", it wouldn't have bothered people like me so much.

Instead they went all bitchy with the stewardess, witch-doctor, fanatic book-banning crap which made the critics sound like teenage girls dissing the new girl in school:

'Didja hear about the new girl, Sarah? I hear she's a bimbo.
Nah, I hear she's a stuck-up goody two-shoes.
I don't care, I hate her.
Me, too.'

Everybody knows she had basically been a governor for 2 years and sure that is a slim resume. But that just drew attention to the fact the Presidential candidate on the other side had a resume just as slim. Why obsess about the Veep candidate on one side, when the primary candidate on the other has just a slim resume?

Where's your evidence? Most people vote for or against the Presidential candidate not VP.

A large swath of the US populace evidently agrees.
