because AMD already have their sweet such deal with Germany in Dresden ;)

That's just a normal financial incentive to build a factory like Intel gets in Israel or various U. S. states offer. I'm talking about a government handout to prop up a company heading toward going out of business.

I'm happier with my AMD notebook than I was with the Pontiac I rented over the weekend. It had a ridiculous spoiler attached to the trunk lid. I had to keep raising and lowering my head to see past it in the rear view mirror and at night, the streetlights reflected off it. It blocked my view of headlights I needed to see and caused reflections I didn't need to see. Probably some marketing dweeb convinced GM the thing would make the car look sportier so someone under 55 would want it.

$5 billion could last AMD for five years, but it sounds like the Big 3 need $5 billion per month.
