I may have great power to ignore them, but its impossible to test those power to find out, when on the net there are no oil subsidies to ignore, and in gross terms they are a much smaller part of the oil market than the alternative energy market.

Well when you look at how cheap the U.S. has given prices on it's oil leases over the years it has become a license to steal. The oil companies just work the spread.

I'll be glad when all of the "cheap" oil is sucked out of the ground. As it moves to deeper water and "nasty places" the time is coming very soon.
