Bush Jr. has a strange "backward" way of thinking that is common to faith based personalities. They look from the present to the past and see that step-by-step things happened in a certain way. Their mistake is to think that this means that when they look from the present to the future that things will also unfold in a certain way. Instead, the future is uncertain. That's the really strange thing about time, It has different properties when looking toward the past than when looking toward the future. TP
