MHR had a big runup about 2 weeks ago and has retreated some since then. Don't know why the runup except that MHR has typically followed the price of crude oil closely - as oil prices go up so does MHR. MHR is highly leveraged with large debt load so they will also be highly susceptible to interest rate increases. If the Fed raises interest rates later this year, we could see a rather significant impact on MHR's stock price.

Earnings should be out near the end of the month or in the first week of November. That's when they typically report. I would expect the price to fluctuate in a range from 7.25 and 7.75 until earnings. You should be able to hold off until then without a significant rise in price.

Regards,
Jeff
