Thanks, I hear you. I'v been a bit 'averse' to options but do use them on occasion. Back when I was younger and dumber, getting started in this racket at the dawn of the options age in the mid 1970's, a broker convinced me that the 'road to riches' was buying naked calls. Promptly lost almost my entire trading stake that I had built up by working through college and living at home. It was a powerful lesson.
