Well as joe explains it, its what we get for not going nuclear.

Does Joe work in the Nuke industry? He seems to want a nuke in every garage... maybe two.

Ted,

Well as joe explains it, its what we get for not going nuclear. Who knew the choices were nuclear or polluting our rivers and streams.

Seems like you are getting it. Let me give you another piece of info. The article was just about mining debris that can get into rivers and streams.

There is another component that gets into rivers and streams. When coal is burned, all the impurities (other than carbon and hydrogen, which are burned) go up with the smoke, and come down with the rain, ending up in revers and streams, then in oceans, and as a consequence, in fish we eat and the environment we live in.
