My dentist claims that it costs him $2000 a day to run his office. He says dentists have a high suicide rate because of mercury exposure.

My theory is dentists have a high suicide rate because at some point they wake up and realize they've spent the better part of their adult lives working inside other people's mouths.

I went to yellowbook.com and wrote down a bunch of telephone numbers. Didn't get a chance to call today, but am hoping they all have price lists they can send. I'll even try to pick them up.

We've been with this guy for almost 30 yrs........and will be sorry to leave, but this is ridiculous.

I am also absolutely amazed at how many dentists are in my little town.
