Do you have a Republican chair of the committee that writes tax law and cheats on his taxes? How many young women have Republican Senators drowned while driving drunk? How many Republican Congressmen get re-elected and treated like statesmen after they get caught screwing underage pages and running a callboy network out of their apts? You can find plenty of sinful Republicans. What sets the Democrats apart is when Democrats get caught red-handed there is no penalty. They don't resign in disgrace. They don't get rejected by their party. They don't lose elections. They're not expected to be moral or even law-obeying.
